Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of remoteplugafrica.com (the “Site”) and its membership services (the “Service”), operated by Remote Plug Africa, a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria.

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Remote Plug Africa operates a membership-based job board curated for client-facing remote roles (including but not limited to Account Management, Appointment Setting, and Sales/Business Development), targeted at African professionals. Depending on your membership tier, the Service may also include access to an AI-powered resume and cover letter tailoring tool.

2. Membership Tiers & Payment

• We offer multiple membership tiers (Starter, Pro, and Premium), each with different features and pricing, as described on our Membership Levels page.
• Payments are processed through Paystack and are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select.
• Your membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
• Prices are subject to change; we will provide reasonable notice of any pricing changes before they take effect for existing members.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your membership at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle; you will retain access until that date.
• Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

4. AI Resume & Cover Letter Tool

• The AI tool is available to Pro and Premium members, subject to a monthly usage cap tied to your membership tier.
• Output generated by the AI tool is intended as a drafting aid, not a guarantee of interview success or employment outcomes. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before submitting it in a job application.
• We do not store the resume or job description text you submit to the tool beyond what is necessary to generate your requested output.

5. Job Listings Disclaimer

• Job listings on the Site are curated from publicly available third-party sources (such as employer career pages and applicant tracking systems). We write original summaries of these listings and do not republish employer job descriptions verbatim.
• We do our best to keep listings accurate, current, and relevant, but we do not guarantee that any listing is still open, accurately described, or free of error at the time you view or apply to it.
• We are not the employer for any listed role, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes of any kind.
• If you believe a listing is inaccurate, expired, or fraudulent, please report it to us at info@remoteplugafrica.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your membership login or access with individuals who are not paying members
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute job listings or Site content for commercial purposes
• Attempt to bypass usage limits on the AI tool
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content on the Site — including job summaries, branding, and Site design — is the property of Remote Plug Africa and may not be reproduced without permission. Job posting URLs and any employer-owned content remain the property of their respective employers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remote Plug Africa is not liable for:

• Any employment decisions, outcomes, or opportunities (or lack thereof) resulting from use of the Service
• Errors or inaccuracies in third-party job listings
• Any damages arising from use of AI-generated content
• Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss beyond our reasonable control

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or fraudulent activity.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
